Join or Die follows renowned social scientist Robert Putnam and the research behind Bowling Alone — work that links thriving communities to healthier people and a healthier democracy.
The film’s message is simple: participating in real-life groups matters.
As Putnam puts it, “The core idea of social capital is so simple I’m almost embarrassed to say it sometimes … It is that social networks have value.” (The Guardian)
